Butterflies of Nervousness

In my weakness I reach out to You

And I cling to edge of Your robe Daddy

Holding on to You through the storms

Trusting that beauty will abound from this

You pulled me out of the depths of deep clay

And oh I am clutching on to Your truths

Cuz I know that without You I am nothing

Help me to release my subconscious fears

Lord undo the webs of doubt and anxiety

Let nothing detract me from Your presence

Heal the brokenness I didn’t even know I had

Unwind the motions that won’t stop playing

Unleash the butterflies of nervousness inside

Allow breakthrough in my deepest parts

When I didn’t even know I needed it

Remove my hands from my own eyes

So I can see the beauty in these ashes

The grace placed in the situations before me

Remind me that fear has lost its power 

And that in You Jesus I can do all things
