A Forest of Likes

Daddy I am amazed by You daily Let me never lose sight of all You are Refuse to let fear have any control Your never-ending love pour over O Lord You call me Yours Took my place on the cross And You saved me from myself Rescued me from sins grip I’ll never let myself forget Your great sacrifice It will never lose its power of changing my life Everything You are is the one thing I need May I never lose my desire to strive for intimacy And continue to chase after You my King Jesus

Daddy God I rest my head oh so gently on Your chest When I read Your Word I can hear straight from You Cuz You were right there watching it all play out It was all a part of Your master plan for my life Your faithfulness drips off every page And Your glory shines with every word Thank You for Your Word To guide me through this life Thank You for Your promises To give me hope through the night I praise You for all that You are God here's my life and my heart You were there and created the world You were there when Your people were slaves You were there when Your Son had to die And You were there when I was born

Buried deep under my pile of sin Too far gone to let anyone in Hidden under my guilt and shame Wanted to be unknown no name But You wrote a different plan for me One that would bring You glory So You called me out of the shadows You called me out of the grave You called me into Your arms And called me into Your grace You pulled me out of the miry clay From darkness to light that day Changed me from the inside out Gave me a new life left nothing out Now I take steps forward to You A vessel of honor and truth My life is Your redemption story That shouts of Your endless glory

Good morning Daddy it’s a beautiful day The sun is shining our journey is on its way I grab Your hand and we take our first step With You next to me fear runs to the left When I am with You joy fills my heart May we always walk together never apart You are the One who leads me to still water I am Your child and You are my Father Every step I take is in sync with You my King I am never ever alone because You’re with me Even in the quiet spaces and lonely places You’re beside me to calm my heart as it races Every day is more time to spend with just us When I walk on my path it is treacherous Forgive me for walking steps away from You I surrender and jump back on the road with You You are holy and worthy regardless of my vision All I can see is fear and doubt there is collision Remove the blinders that these have given me This life is not mine but I live for Your glory

There's no sin too great or too large That I cant redeem; the cross was enough To cover the multitude of sin you've committed So trust in Me because all is forgiven Move on from your past and guilt Move forward I've forgiven it all I am with you through it all Forgiven all of your wrongs Redeemed you back to Me Gave my life so you'd be free I've erased your guilt Covered Your pride Removed your insecurity Forgotten your past I have forgiven all of that

Do you remember the day God saved you Is it something you think about often Can you remember anything before then I remember being last with no sense of purpose With eyes so selfish so broken so depressed Not able to find the strength to get out bed But then at the right time He called me out Pulled my heart out of the grave into grace Showered mercies and love over all of me Removed the blinders from my selfish eyes Softened my hardened and stubborn heart Erased all the sins of my past with His blood Made me a new creation with no purpose Empowered me to tell my story to the world Gave me direction and called me His own Had a reason to get out of bed every morning Filled me with such joy, peace, hope, and love I was no longer worthless but a worthy vessel Cuz I was now a daughter of the Most High God

Only after You King Jesus Another time in Your presence Chasing after closeness with You Wanting this moment to stand still And time to stop so I can stay here Cuz my to do list keeps calling me But then I remember this You never ever leave me Cuz You're the Author of my story You've been with me from the beginning From my first breath until now You've been with me every step Walked every mile right beside me Sweet Jesus I am wrapped up in Your arms You pull me closer to Your heart Tell me the day You created me That You remember every detail I am overwhelmed by Your thoughts of me Thank You for Your unconditional love

God thank you for the countless times That You have waited patiently for me For the times You walked with me in silence For the moments You wiped my tears as they fell For the days You carried my strengthless body For the minutes You held me close to your heart For the seconds You opened my eyes to truth For the times You laughed alongside me For the hours You encouraged me For the moments You have loved me For the years, months, days, hours, and minutes Thank You for never giving up on me You've never let me go and You never will

Surrender is easy when face to the floor There's nowhere to turn but look up Reaching out in desperation for You But You want all of me all of the time Forgive me for my lack of surrender My need to try things on my own When I can not do this life alone So I give back the praise to You Cuz without You I couldn't move I pursue You with all that I do Walking this life right beside You And giving up control of my view So that You can guide me through Sweet King Jesus You are worthy Precious Savior here's all the glory My life was never mine to own I give You my heart as Your home

Toxic love is all this world has to offer me It leaves such a sour taste in my mouth All I want to do is just spit it out Cuz it makes my heart sick with poison Leaves you with a black eye and pain Brings you to the point of being paralyzed Love with compromise and manipulation Full of jealousy and feeling trapped But You God give us a healthy love One that brings healing and life You give us love that makes us feel valued Builds us up to pursue Your purposes Your love never runs out cuz You are love Strengthens us in our weakness to keep moving Loves us more than we could love ourselves No boundaries exist in Your love for us

Too many times you've wandered alone Cant find a place to call your home Crying out for someone to save you So hear My still small voice saying Come to me and I'll give you rest Come to me I know whats best I hold the whole world in my hands I have you close to my heart No matter what storms brew O what chaos seems to ensue Just know I'll never let you go Cuz You're my beloved and You are my own My precious child that I'll never let go You are mine you were paid with my life So just know that I'll never leave your side

I was so far gone and lost Living my life on exhaust But You Lord called me out Gave me life I am devout Everything in this world is worthless Nothing compares to Your goodness Now I want to scream Your name Till I turn so blue in the face I want to radiate Your light Through every day and night I've been given a second chance You chose my heart to romance You call me to so much more So here I am my life is Yours Youre worthy of every bit of praise To be glorified above other names I want to run this race And to bring You fame I want to shine bright To show them Your light

I am far from perfect and so blind But You call me out of doubt into life To escape this place I'm locked inside And to draw me closer to Your side You open doors that seem hopeless And break chains to bring freedom Reveal Your heart for all of my mess And tell me that Your will be done Nothing can stop Your pursuit Nothing can get in Your way You're coming after me You never let a day go by without Your say Or leave me alone or lost for a moment Cuz nothing happens apart from You And I want the heart You want to use

Till You entered my life I didnt know peace Didnt realize how lost and blind I was Had no sense of self control or humility Was running my life right into the ground Now I know peace Can finally see Surrendered to You No longer lost But found in You Till You rescued me from my sin nature I was building up only my own pride Never took the time to look others in the eye Cuz I was only focused on helping me Lord take this heart and break it down Restore it to Yourself I lay it down on the ground Without You there's no knowing what I'll do Cuz I was never fully me till I found You

Lead me Lord into yielding so deeply That You take my constant no away For the joy set before me will endure Please God rip the no out of me And help me to say yes to Your will To reject my sinful nature completely And dive head first into Your desires I want what You have and nothing else I say yes to the path you've set for me You desire only the best for my life So I surrender to Your glorious plan Give up control for a better purpose Guide me in the truths for Your promises I want to yearn for more of my God Remove the blinders from my eyes So I can see the ways You've lead me You've always been in charge of it all But somehow I've tried to control it Give it all back to the Holder of the world Cuz Your ways are better than my own Have Your ways with me my hands are raised

I am fragile and frail without You God Falling flat on my face on my own So I lean on You cuz my strength is weak And trust that You will lead me onward I know I am a high risk for a heart fracture When I try to do this life by myself Cuz I cant breathe without You here And I cant make my own heart beat But my heart needs to absorb You Cuz too long I've replaced You With things unhealthy for living Forgive me for trying to strengthen myself I run to You cuz i am lacking Drinking Your love cuz I am thirsty Help me to say no to my desires And seek after all that You have for me

You flash flood my heart with unspeakable joy And overwhelm me with Your unconditional love You outpour Your majesty for all of us to see I am submerged in the blessings You give me Let me continually drown in Your goodness And be engulfed intimately in Your presence Who You are is overwhelming You cover me with Your wings I am speechless in Your presence As Your goodness You present You rain down mercy and grace upon us As Your love surges through our hearts You radiate Your perfect peace and holiness And pour out Your forgiveness to us all

Weakness Still Evident Here I am walking this life but I’m not alone For the Father holds my hand and walks with me He leads me into the unknown and into the chaos My weaknesses are still evident and on display But my God’s power is beside me radiating In my weakest hour God is my strength  I can take a step forward knowing He is with me I can face whatever this day holds for me Because I am a daughter of the Most High He’s never left me alone and never will Although I am still weak I can rely on His strength  Even though I am worn out He holds me His power works best in my weaknesses I know that it is He who brings me joy His loving peace flows from Him into me Though my weaknesses haven’t changed Where I get my power has and it’s in Him He gives me the strength to face today And tomorrow He will renew my strength  I can walk with confidence knowing I’m secure My identity is in Christ and I am His beloved I am His ambassador called to bring peace I am His daughter called...

Imperfect Vessel I am an imperfect vessel with cracks and stains I come with fresh and old scars and bruises Reminders of all the times I tried to do it my way From all the times where I didn’t trust You Lord But You the Healer of all my brokenness Met me in my midst of my imperfections Told me to take Your hand and You would heal You promised to bring life to this imperfect vessel My scars and cracks remained to remind me Where I have been and who I am now They show me all the ways You’ve been there You have used my past to point others to You Shown others that we are all flawed and sinful But how You can restore a broken mess of a life And turn it around for a life of freedom from sin I used to have chains around this vessel  But You broke them down and freed me I can show my broken chains to others Show them that they don’t have to live in bondage But they can live a life of peace and love Sin doesn’t have to choke out Your joy You allow us to be useful and give us purpose We do...
