Radiates Through Them All

Sometimes my heart is overflowing

Springs of water bubbling up in my soul

And other times it feels like a desert

Thirst that can only be quench by You

But whether the season is dry or wet

It doesn’t change the status of Your goodness

Doesn’t stop You from doing Your will

Doesn’t change the fact You’re on the throne

The status of my heart is that it should always be yearning

Yearning like I am dehydrated and starving

I pray for my heart to always be longing

Searching for You like a great treasure

Desiring You like the last piece of bread

Wanting You more than my next breath

Desperately seeking for You all my days

Seasons come and seasons they go

But You’ve never changed never will

You’re the God who brought Israel out of Egypt

The One who sent His only Son to save us all

And the King who reigns forevermore

Teach me to thirst for Your knowledge

And show me how to hunger for righteousness

Cuz I know You are the breath in my lungs

And the rhythm that tells my heart to beat

You know the number of hairs on my head

And You love me with tenderest of loves

Praise to You God who knows my name

Called me out of the grave and into life

Some days it’s hot and others it pours

But Your goodness isnt defined by my circumstances

Rather Your goodness radiates through them all
