You call me by name and you know me

Better than anyone better than I do

You’ve seen every action know every motive

Know my every thought and reaction

Seen the bitterness and ugliness inside

The parts of me that I try to conceal

You’ve seen it all and you know me well

Cuz nothing is hidden from Your sight

You love me despite my laundry list of lacking

And forgive me as soon as I ask that of You

Your blood covers it all and I am made new

You wash me clean as though it never happened

New mercies You give every morning

Hope for an eternity spent beside You

Sweet intimacy found in our time together

Such joy is discovered in Your presence 

Your perfect peace casts out all fear
