Spring Rain

God Your favor refreshes me like spring rain

It washes over me with showers of grace

My cup runs over with Your many blessings

I am amazed by Your greatness my King

You never run out of love for me

It’s endless with no start or beginning

You’re always stirring my heart to sing

Every beat sings Your praise and glory

And every breath breathes You in and out

I trust in Your goodness I have no doubts

That You are the God that You say You are 

I can stand firmly on that when I look at my scars

Cuz they are a reminder of Your goodness

The changes that You’ve made in me, a mess

I’ve fought the changes but look at me now

You’ve made beauty out of me only You know how

I look more like You and less than myself

Which is the desire of the heart in my chest 

Wash over me Lord and remind me of truth

That every rainbow is a reminder of You

Promises that You’ve never once broken

Never turned Your back or misspoken 

Cuz never once have you failed to come through

Cuz that is just not Your nature not You

But You are a faithful God teaching me the same

That this life isn’t mine but should scream Your name

I shout Jesus as loud as I possibly can

And give You my all with all that I am

Thank You for calling me out of the miry clay

And setting my feet upon a rock as Your glory’s display
