8/7/19 If I don’t give sin a breath

If I beat it down to death

It will still keep coming back

If I pretend it’s not real

Then I won’t have to deal

With the truth I’m in denial

Inside I am slowly fading

Dying from the inside out

Please illuminate the truth

So the truth can set me free

I can’t hide can’t cover up

Can’t pretend or forget

Can’t stay in the shadows

So I step into Your light

Call on Your glorious name 

Cuz in You there’s freedom

Only the truth can save me

So please set me free

If I forget the pain

Don’t give it a name

It’s not a problem right

If I hide it all away

Don’t let it have a say

It has no control right
