Breathless

In the morning as I see the beauty of Your creation arise
I am reminded of the uniqueness of Your design
The sun only comes up when You tell it to wake up
And disappears when the day is ready to be done
Every sunset is a new painting with different patterns
It’s magnificence screams the only name that matters
It captures my heart and I can’t release my gaze
Cuz by the beauty of its design I am amazed
Every night the moon pokes out to say hello
Mostly it’s a sliver or a half but sometimes it’s whole
But it shines bright to shed upon us some light
And it lights up the sky with the stars in the night
I look up above and remember Your goodness
And how much you love each and every one of us
Hard to fathom the complexity of the God of all
But regardless of understanding to my knees I fall
Your glory illuminates both the night and the day
Leaving us breathless with no words left to say
