Pour out Your will on the blank slate of my heart it’s all Yours

Let others see You in the depths of my eyes and life

That they may know love beyond all imagination or thought

Freedom from the chains that You broke

Broke off of me and can do for them too

Joy that is endless and is a bountiful harvest

Peace that is overwhelming and so needed

This blank slate is no longer blank but full

Sharing Your goodness and righteousness

Exuding Your love and grace and mercy

Speaks of Your faithfulness covered with promises

Shows the hardships that You and I have been

But also shows the treasures we’ve found

I write myself out on this slate for others to read

Read about the God who has never left me

Who saved me and gave me a new name
