Day and Night

I trust in You Oh Lord of all things

Cuz what can mere men do to me

You hold the whole world in Your hands

You command the day and night 

But a breath away from eternity with You

Just a step away from this life to the next 

To a place with no more tears

Just laughter and no more fears

Where there’s dancing and feasts

No nightmares or terrors of beasts

Joy that can never be taken away

In Your sweet presence we stay

Oh Lord I look forward to that day

My Dad owns the cattle on a thousand hills

Knows me through and through loves me still

And one day I will meet Him face to face

But I will keep seeking Him until that day
