Grasp The Depths of My Weary Heart

Oh Father God grasp the depths of my weary heart

So that I will learn to trust in Your will for me

You know what I want and You know what I need

I want to want what I need what You have

Surrendering isn’t easy and it’s a continual process

But to you O Lord I give complete control

You know what changes need to be made

Even though its painful, messy, and difficult

I lay down my pride cuz You promise new life

Cuz this life is a gift I do not take lightly

You bought me with Your precious Son’s blood

So how could I possibly want to stay the same

I am a new creation with a brand new purpose

Point out the parts of me I have yet to give up

Here I am face down before Your throne

Saying I am Your servant I want to be used
