Far into the Sea

I placed this heavy stone upon my heart
Trying to hide what I feel from the start
Denying those feelings are even there
Cuz I didnt feel like anyone cared

Believed if I hide my pain away from them
Then I couldnt be hurt by anyone ahain

But You Lord died in my place
Wiped my tears from my face
Showed me amazing grace
Released me from my pain
Loved me back to life again
Cuz You know how I feel
And my pain is very real
You washed me in Your peace
And now I am forever free

With a word You broke that rock
Freedom was found behind that lock
The burden was removed from me
I could be who I am supposed to be

Cuz You lifted the pieces off me
Threw them far into the sea
Never to return to this heart
Gave me a brand new start
