Heart Breaks

My heart breaks for you yes I am talking to you

I desire for you to know God your Father

I love you regardless of the status of your heart

But I want to remind you of the goodness of God

He loves us despite of everything we’ve done

Despite how much we try to push Him away

He is still pursuing you and chasing after you

Desiring for you to return to Him once again

No matter how far you’ve run from Him

It only takes one step to come back

He is calling you out personally by name

And reminding you of what he has for you

The peace, mercy, and love that can be yours

His blood covers all of your sin and your past

There’s freedom from shame and guilt

He desires a release of the grips of fear on you
I am praying for God to bring you back to Himself

And remind you of the blessings that He gives you

Don’t you remember the sweetness of the King

The moments when He covered you with peace

Return O lost child and remember Your first love

You are never too far gone or out of reach

One prayer one step one cry is all it takes

To be back with the Father in His embrace

Take hold of the Rock that will sustain you

Be reminded of the good things you tasted

Allow God to clean your stains remove your pains

And bring You back to Himself forever
