Zero In

Slow down my racing heart and my busy life

Let me just sit and be here in Your presence

Allow me to rest in Your arms and find peace

Bring me back to You my first love King Jesus

My mind has a million things running through it

Eliminate all my floating thoughts and ideas

Help me to zero in my focus on only You

Give me laser focus to keep my eyes on You

My eyes are on the eternal prize that awaits me

But I just want to spend a moment here

Life may never slow down but I choose to sit

I lean into You cuz my strength is lacking

You hold the world in Your hands and me too

You desire my time and my complete attention

Jealous of anything I allow to take my time

Forgive me for my busyness and our lack of quality time

I am here now and I will be back to meet You again tomorrow
