in an instant everything will change

your pain will be gone forever

there will be no more tears

face-to-face with the King of kings

I will be with Lord of lords forever

oh what a glorious day

when we will be away from this place

and in the presence of the Most High

no more pain no more sorrow

just in complete and total awe and wonder

and worship will flow out of our lips

our praises will never stop Hallelujah

no longer glimpses of glory

but will be in the complete glory of God

my heart is overwhelmed at the thought

as it’s hard to comprehend

but such beauty awaits us

such joy and peace and an abundance of love

such wonder will we behold

as we enter those gates

and as we walk on those golden streets

when we see the throne of God

see the sweet face of our Savior hearing the words we’ve been waiting for

well done my good and faithful servant

can’t wait to hear those words from my King

welcoming me home to eternity
