Not Promised

We are not promised another day

Another minute another second

But we don’t live the fear of that

We trust in Jesus and His security

However live each day with purpose

Love genuinely pursue healthy friendships

Be a peace bringer and a peace maker

Smile and laugh so that others can see Gods joy

Exude thankfulness for another breath

Radiate kindness to other people 

Although we are socially distancing

Reach out to people who are hurting

Talk to people you haven’t talked to 

Everybody is scared but we are in this together

Bring hope bring life bring peace

Point people to Jesus and to cling to His promises

Fear is a lie and we can hope in the King

Love on people the way Jesus loves on you

Do what you can to help those around you

There’s still things you can do for others

Just because the churches doors are closed

Doesn’t mean the church is closed

Be the hands and feet of Jesus to anyone you can

This world is hurting and desperately needs Jesus

Be a light and shine truth in each other’s homes
