Awaken My Soul

Awaken my soul and trust in the Lord

Because He has renewed our strength

Lean into Him my weary troubled soul

And press on towards the heavenly prize

Don’t you stop don’t quit keep going

No mountain too high to stop His will

No valley too low to keep me trapped

But continue pursue His plan for us

Because He never stops pursuing us

Rise and stand for today has new mercies

The Son is here with us on the journey

There’s nothing to fear or worry about

He’s holding your hands and leading us

You are not alone but you are known

Trust that this is the path set before you

God has extraordinary plans for us

So surrender the grip you have on your life

And release your tightly gripped hand

Allow God to place His hand in yours

And lead you into the promised land
