Nobody Special

 

Look I’m nobody special that I’d stand out

Not someone that would add to something 

Not the best that I would be chosen first

And look I don’t meet all the requirements

But God You call me out my nothingness

And God You call me into Your abundance

Who am I that You would deem me chosen

What am I that I would be part of Your plan

I am known and called by my name

By the God who took away my pain

Gave me a purpose and a plan

Brushed me off and now I stand

No longer a nobody but someone

Sin erased covered by the blood

I have been chosen by the King

Given a voice and song to sing
