Our 2020 Prayer

Lord we pray today that we not forget

That fear is a lie and the enemy is a liar

Rain peace over our hearts and minds

Rehydrate our trust in Your faithfulness

Refresh our bodies with Your endless goodness

Remind us that You are always in control

And that the greatest place for us to be

Is for us to be in the center of Your will

Nothing apart from Your will will be done

Help us to lean into You when we are weak

Allow us to be swept up in Your arms

And hold us close and tightly to Your heart

Thank you regardless of the situation at hand

You are still good and You are still God

Thank you for hope of one day being with You

An eternity without pain, sickness, or sadness

Encourage us to pursue You each and every moment

Help us to reach out in times of desperation

Thank you that we are never alone in this life

And You’re with us every step of the way

Wash over us with joy that comes from You

And peace that passes all understanding

Thank you Daddy that we can cling to You

When we don’t understand why and how

We know that You are still on the throne
