Blinders Off

 

My past is erased by Gods grace

Blinders taken off I can see His face

Didn’t realize the weight I carried

Until my sins were defeated buried

Didn’t notice my own blindness

Until my eyes were open to this

Grace that I could never even earn

A love that I could never deserve

And yet He pours it over us all

Redeemed from our sinful fall

When my life seemed so grim 

Restored to freedom found in Him

Now I can see beyond today

Eternal life is mine to stay

A new man is now who I am

And here in Christ I can

Be who I am meant to be

A child living for the King
