In the deepest of pains

In the darkest of nights

In the sorrows that just won’t stop

When I struggle to take another step

I hear You whisper don’t give up yet

You remind me that I am not alone

Though this journey may take me far from home

My King and my God you’re with me 

Through it all you were closer than my breath

All I have to do is call

And you come running

I’m never too far gone

I’m never too lost either

You know me by name

You breathe into my pain

And surround me with peace

In the fiercest of storms

You bring me such hope

When I can barely stand on my own

You remind me that you are on the throne

And I am never too far gone
