Face to Face

Teach me to pray like Jesus prayed

Jesus lifted His eyes when He prayed to You

He looked You His Father face to face

He spoke to You with power and knowledge 

When I pray to You O Father

I want to look You in the eyes

And pray with that same power

Knowing You can do all things

To pray to have Your heart for others

Show me how to love well

Teach me how to be kind

Direct me in Your truths

And lead me down Your path

Can’t wait for the day

When we’re face to face

Call me home by name

Until then have Your way
