One Word

It only takes one word from You to change it all

The wind and the waves stop raging

The storm turns from chaos to calm

Powerful are You my Lord and my God

You hold the world in Your hands

You have what’s best for us in Your plans

So You calm the ocean and push back the clouds

And then You ask me where is my faith

Oh me of such little faith I looked at the storm

Instead of the face of my King Jesus

Help me Lord to keep my focus on You

This life has enough worries of its own

Help me to reach for You in all things

When distractions try to pull me away

All I need is all of You all of You King Jesus
