Strong

 

When I am weak, God You are strong

Whether it is a physical setback

Or if it is a mental setback or something else

Thank You that You’re strong in every situation

And Your strength shows best in my weakness

When I am weak in my own human strength

I am able to draw from Your strength

I am thankful that You never let me go

You have held my hand through it all

And protected me from the things I didn’t need

You have equipped me with Your armor

I have a shield and a sword in each hand

And a helmet of truth and chest plate 

I can do all things through Christ Jesus

Weakness allows me to rely solely on You

To be dependent on You and feel secure

Thank You God that I am never alone

Regardless of the circumstances in front of me

Whether storms rage or the weather is calm

Thank You God for holding the world in Your hands 

I can trust in Your goodness that never ends
