Bandaged Heart

Friends we’ve been through an extremely rough year

But the beauty is our God has been with us

He’s been right by our side through it all

Our God has never stopped being faithful

We still have hope for our God holds it all

You may feel like your hearts been through battle

And is covered in scars of depression and fear

You may have bandaged your heart up

So that others can’t see your pain or stress

But friends we need to cling to each other 

Fellowship is so important for our souls

God knows we need people and people need us

Remember that God is still good in the storm

He’s still faithful in the chaos surrounding us

Allow God to unbandage your heart friend

And show others how you are truly feeling

So that there will be freedom and healing

Surrender your fear to the cross that conquered it

Trust the Lord who has never left you alone ever

And who will never forsake you or fail you
