God Your love language is obedience I pray that You teach me how to obey It seemed a lot more obvious how as a kid Cuz my parents would give me opportunities  But as an adult it almost seems covered by a veil Not always as blatantly obvious how to do so I do know that You call me to love You With all that I am and You’re the centerpiece of my life I want You to be that in my desires, feelings, and affection So in obedience I surrender my want to be center stage And allow You to be the great big middle of my life I want this life to be a worship song solely to You Help me to not divide myself in my worshipping But to always love You first and seek You first Let my heart speak about the treasures I have found in You With edifying and beneficial words that bless others Teach me to obey like Abraham and Sarah You said go and then went without any direction Open my heart and ears to be sensitive to Your calling Guide me into the knowledge of Yo...

God tears roll down my eyes as I realize my dehydration of Your Word I’ve allowed a viewing of everything else but Your words Found my mind wandering in areas I never want to go And in my wandering realizing I am so incredibly lost with You Such hunger that I haven’t allowed myself to be full of You Cuz I have been so full of myself and my eyes so fixed on me Worrying about meaningless things and stuff Forgive my selfish heart for relying on itself to decide Instead of trusting in You and relinquishing control Renew my mind to crave the things this world can’t offer To desire a mind that corresponds with Your Word For a drive to place things before me that draw me into Your arms Remove and erase the parts of me that are just me Replace and repair those parts with all that You are Let my life my words my direction be aligned with Yours That everything I am have a heavenly purpose My motives be one of humility grace mercy and love

I lay down my rights to drive the car of my life No longer the driver or the back seat driver If left to my own devices I would drive off a cliff Cuz purpose and me are pointless without You in control I tried to drive and it got me to a place I never want to go To the end of the road or at least that’s what I thought But at rock bottom You reminded me that You’re my Rock The Rock of my salvation and the end doesn’t happen yet There’s more to my story and my journey my life You have plans beyond my wildest dreams to still fulfill With me in the backseat You want to take me places Restore brokenness remind me of my purpose That I am loved and matter regardless of anything I’ve done The edge of the cliff isn’t an option for me or anyone But eternal life and a real life story of redemption is Let Him restore Your brokenness and pick you up Set you on your feet and give you a purpose

Let  peace reign and hope fill our hearts God its so easy to get our minds space stuck We focus more on the problems of our world We forget so quickly that the God of peace holder it all How often we fail to remember the promises fulfilled Forgive us Lord for our mental block and selfishness Open our eyes and hearts to soak in all of You Remind us of our need and desperation for You How blind we allow ourselves to be to Your goodness How deaf we allow ourselves to be to Your Word I surrender myself to the workings of Your will You can have all of me I lay my face to the floor at Your feet I am Your servant send me wherever I’m to go Where you go I will go for You are my God I know that apart from You I have and am nothing I need You more than breath in my lungs Forgive my stupid and stubborn heart O God I  wave my white flag of surrender to Your will

You are restoration to my brokenness And the redemption of my emptiness He rescues those who are trapped in sin Lifts them up and breathes life within Washes them in the blood of forgiveness And He empowers us to be His witness Though all hope seems forever lost And there nothing but darkness ahead I trust in the God of the cloud by day And the One who brought the fire by night He commands everything in this whole universe And He has plans for each and every one of us Nothing happens that wasn’t planned ahead of time Even if it’s a valley low or a mountain to climb The Lord is in us and with us through it all If storm clouds or sunshine or rain falls Though all hope seems forever lost And there nothing but darkness ahead I trust in the God of the cloud by day And the One who brought the fire by night

Joy it's coursing through my veins  My situations are nowhere near perfect But the God that I serve He and His will are My joy is rooted in the fact that I am saved I have been redeemed and my future is bright Eternal life awaits me and I get to spend it with Him My joy is not reliant on anyone or anything But is founded in the truth of who He says I am Chosen and plucked out of the pit I kept digging Set on the foundation of hope and grace Mercy was given when death should've been the outcome He took my place when the cross should've been mine Suffered the brutal death that awaited me And conquered death so a second chance could be given Hallelujah that I was rescued from the darkness I was in I was given a new name a new purpose and a new life Went from lost to found blind to seeing I became a daughter of the King No longer bound to my earthly self and destined for death But free to be the woman Gods called me to be My chains br...

I found something so valuable I gave up my rights to obtain it Nothing else could possibly be worth more to me than this I found a love you've only ever read about but never experienced He died in my place so that I didn't have to die instead I’m living He knows every part of me the good the bad and the ugly parts Yet He chooses to love me wicked-hearted me self-centered me He looks at me as though He has found the most precious jewel He wraps me up in His loving arms and pulls me closer to Himself Speaks such sweet truth over me as I sleep soundly through the night He is in this for the long haul and accepts me and all of my flaws Knows all the little things that make me me and accepts all of them Makes Himself readily available to my needs and hears every prayer He is always close by and I am never every left alone He is with me It is the sweetest of loves that I have ever tasted and it never runs out I am overwhelmed by the intensity and the tenacity of His ...
