God Your love language is obedience I pray that You teach me how to obey It seemed a lot more obvious how as a kid Cuz my parents would give me opportunities  But as an adult it almost seems covered by a veil Not always as blatantly obvious how to do so I do know that You call me to love You With all that I am and You’re the centerpiece of my life I want You to be that in my desires, feelings, and affection So in obedience I surrender my want to be center stage And allow You to be the great big middle of my life I want this life to be a worship song solely to You Help me to not divide myself in my worshipping But to always love You first and seek You first Let my heart speak about the treasures I have found in You With edifying and beneficial words that bless others Teach me to obey like Abraham and Sarah You said go and then went without any direction Open my heart and ears to be sensitive to Your calling Guide me into the knowledge of Your p

God tears roll down my eyes as I realize my dehydration of Your Word I’ve allowed a viewing of everything else but Your words Found my mind wandering in areas I never want to go And in my wandering realizing I am so incredibly lost with You Such hunger that I haven’t allowed myself to be full of You Cuz I have been so full of myself and my eyes so fixed on me Worrying about meaningless things and stuff Forgive my selfish heart for relying on itself to decide Instead of trusting in You and relinquishing control Renew my mind to crave the things this world can’t offer To desire a mind that corresponds with Your Word For a drive to place things before me that draw me into Your arms Remove and erase the parts of me that are just me Replace and repair those parts with all that You are Let my life my words my direction be aligned with Yours That everything I am have a heavenly purpose My motives be one of humility grace mercy and love

I lay down my rights to drive the car of my life No longer the driver or the back seat driver If left to my own devices I would drive off a cliff Cuz purpose and me are pointless without You in control I tried to drive and it got me to a place I never want to go To the end of the road or at least that’s what I thought But at rock bottom You reminded me that You’re my Rock The Rock of my salvation and the end doesn’t happen yet There’s more to my story and my journey my life You have plans beyond my wildest dreams to still fulfill With me in the backseat You want to take me places Restore brokenness remind me of my purpose That I am loved and matter regardless of anything I’ve done The edge of the cliff isn’t an option for me or anyone But eternal life and a real life story of redemption is Let Him restore Your brokenness and pick you up Set you on your feet and give you a purpose

Let  peace reign and hope fill our hearts God its so easy to get our minds space stuck We focus more on the problems of our world We forget so quickly that the God of peace holder it all How often we fail to remember the promises fulfilled Forgive us Lord for our mental block and selfishness Open our eyes and hearts to soak in all of You Remind us of our need and desperation for You How blind we allow ourselves to be to Your goodness How deaf we allow ourselves to be to Your Word I surrender myself to the workings of Your will You can have all of me I lay my face to the floor at Your feet I am Your servant send me wherever I’m to go Where you go I will go for You are my God I know that apart from You I have and am nothing I need You more than breath in my lungs Forgive my stupid and stubborn heart O God I  wave my white flag of surrender to Your will

You are restoration to my brokenness And the redemption of my emptiness He rescues those who are trapped in sin Lifts them up and breathes life within Washes them in the blood of forgiveness And He empowers us to be His witness Though all hope seems forever lost And there nothing but darkness ahead I trust in the God of the cloud by day And the One who brought the fire by night He commands everything in this whole universe And He has plans for each and every one of us Nothing happens that wasn’t planned ahead of time Even if it’s a valley low or a mountain to climb The Lord is in us and with us through it all If storm clouds or sunshine or rain falls Though all hope seems forever lost And there nothing but darkness ahead I trust in the God of the cloud by day And the One who brought the fire by night

Joy it's coursing through my veins  My situations are nowhere near perfect But the God that I serve He and His will are My joy is rooted in the fact that I am saved I have been redeemed and my future is bright Eternal life awaits me and I get to spend it with Him My joy is not reliant on anyone or anything But is founded in the truth of who He says I am Chosen and plucked out of the pit I kept digging Set on the foundation of hope and grace Mercy was given when death should've been the outcome He took my place when the cross should've been mine Suffered the brutal death that awaited me And conquered death so a second chance could be given Hallelujah that I was rescued from the darkness I was in I was given a new name a new purpose and a new life Went from lost to found blind to seeing I became a daughter of the King No longer bound to my earthly self and destined for death But free to be the woman Gods called me to be My chains br

I found something so valuable I gave up my rights to obtain it Nothing else could possibly be worth more to me than this I found a love you've only ever read about but never experienced He died in my place so that I didn't have to die instead I’m living He knows every part of me the good the bad and the ugly parts Yet He chooses to love me wicked-hearted me self-centered me He looks at me as though He has found the most precious jewel He wraps me up in His loving arms and pulls me closer to Himself Speaks such sweet truth over me as I sleep soundly through the night He is in this for the long haul and accepts me and all of my flaws Knows all the little things that make me me and accepts all of them Makes Himself readily available to my needs and hears every prayer He is always close by and I am never every left alone He is with me It is the sweetest of loves that I have ever tasted and it never runs out I am overwhelmed by the intensity and the tenacity of His

In the coldest of nights the warmth of Your embrace draws us closer to You In the driest of seasons your love never stops pouring out over us In the hottest of days Your sweet mercy sustains us to be filled again In the storms of this life You are the anchor that we can hold onto Come winter or spring Your love overflows for me If summer or even fall Only You reign over it all You are the God of it all In the darkest of evenings You light the way for us In the moments of weakness You strengthen us still In the chaos and confusion You bring it all back to order In the battle that rages You are the One in control Come weakness or darkness You are right here to hold us Come confusion or chaos Or the battle You’re victorious You’re our Savior King victorious

The King is coming to take back what He created Are you ready are you dressed for service and awaiting His return Jesus is coming soon why not teach to go and preach to the ends of the world What is be ready supposed to mean for us if we are to be expectant Shouldn’t we be sharing with anyone and everyone The hope of Christ returning soon should spur us to share our testimonies To share of the goodness of God’s grace and mercy We should be spurring each other to bring hope to the hopeless Our focus should be caring about the neighbors around us Whether it’s tomorrow hallelujah or not till after our lifetime Let’s bring the kingdom of God here and now People need Jesus this world is desperate need of hope Bring hope show love share Jesus tell your redemption story Don’t let another day pass without sharing with someone Jesus is our Savior King He came and died for you He rose again to put a stop to the enemy’s hold on us New life is promised with ne

There’s no mountain my God can not knock down Or a valley to low that He can’t meet me there He is in the pursuit of me and He will never stop Wants all of me to look like Him and He is making me new The tests the trials are to refine me and make me new  Sometimes fire is necessary to break up this stubborn heart To help my eyes be opened to the wickedness of my heart Just like a diamond I need pressure to bring out the best in me Some trial are short lived while others are long suffering But that changes nothing cuz it’s what I need God is still in control still on the throne and still good They are not comfortable but neither is life Wouldn’t you want someone to be the best version of themselves Wouldn’t you want that by any means necessary Cuz that’s exactly what God wants for you and me Look I am not saying trials are fun or enjoyable But I know that they are purposeful and good for us God is going to prove His greatness and use you We are mo

Sweet Jesus I come before you and I want to thank you For choosing a wretch like me to carry your Gospel I’ve tasted the bitterness of the world and I don’t want it But in You I have tasted of Your goodness and sweetness You bring light and such radiant joy into my life I once was so blinded in my sin that all I could was darkness But like the prodigal son You waited patiently for my return While I was still a far distance off You ran to me And You embraced and welcomed me in Your family You showed me grace when I deserved none Wrapped me up in righteousness and called me worthy Reminded me of all the things I am not who I was Threw a feast in my honor to say welcome home my child I was accepted for the first time in my whole life Joy filled my heart as though it was starving for it Love washed over me and I was made new My past faded away and I was given hope and a future What sweetness to be chosen and known by the Father To be a part of a wonde

Forgiveness is not an easy thing to give or ask for But what joy it brings when we are granted it And because of that we should be willing to give as freely God so rich in mercy forgave you and call you to forgive others There’s no limit there’s no restraint on the amount You know how often you need the Lord to forgive you So forgive others as quickly as God forgives you Look nobody’s perfect and of course people hurt you But while we were yet sinners Christ died for us IWhen people don’t deserve forgiveness do it anyway Cuz you’ve been forgiven of much so do the same We are called to be like Christ and He showed mercy And delivered you from the chains of sin and death I know that it’s not as easy as is being said But when you remember where you were saved from You look at others through the eyes of Christ Your eyes are open to their need to be shown grace

All that is within me longs for You and Your presence Your glory is the only place where I find rest Sleep doesn’t energize my heart like You do Every bone aches for Your return to be with You My heart races in anticipation of Your return I am never satisfied apart from our time together I never want to lose the intimacy we have The end could be soon and we can’t wait to see You King of all kings the end is already written And the enemy has no power over the Lion of Judah The Lamb who takes away the sins of the world Coming back in power to claim the world as His own To reign for a thousand years and defeat the enemy once and for all Lord we wait for You we look for You Pray You come soon and take us home What joy fills our hearts as we wait for You
